i feel rejected...

soooo while i'm waiting on my flyers and new business cards to arrive, i decided to look online for freelance photography jobs. I responded to the following ad:


her response:

mind you i really don't know how much i should charge her because i don't know how long she would need me (according to her post) and unknown photographers prices start around $1200, so i felt like i was being generous. I'm not exactly sure how i should feel about this. or if i should even respond... i feel rejected ...

She is not rejecting you, she's really saying she would love to use you for her price of $200.00.

If you want the experience then go for it, if not reply with a thank you.

i think that since she shouldn't be telling you what you should charge. period.
