New Parents to more than one Baby: here's a tip (or two)

No matter how hard i try (and i try soooooo hard) to keep this place clean and well put together...it's proven to be an IMPOSSIBLE task. perfect example, i pick up a block and one if not all three are LITERALLY right behind and sometime beside me, putting another on the floor and in most cases dumping the basket of toys i just picked up. and that's just the toys!

TIP for new parents:
1. NEVER buy new furniture (living room, bedroom, dining..it doesn't matter) IT WILL BE DESTROYED
2. Stock up on Magic Erasers for the walls ( crayons, pencils, pens, eyeliner...) IT WILL BE DESTROYED
3. If your apartment or house has carpet, do not have it replaced with brand new carpet bc baby is on the way (pee, poop, milk, juice,raspberries, puke,...) IT WILL BE DESTROYED

Invest in a good vacuum (will be used on a daily basis), be prepared to rent a carpet cleaner for DIY cleaning (professionals cost more than you need to spend at this point)

there is sooo much more i could share with you, BUT, babies are calling and they show no mercy.

First Crush

yesterday was a crazy fun day. took all three babies to the Doc for check ups (by myself). No pics  as you can imagine i had my hands, arms, legs full. Shots. Shots. & screaming. but I didn't it and did not get stressed out. it felt good to get through that on my own....BUT daddy will be at the next visit :-)

earlier that morning i promised Bri that we would go back to the mall for play time. after the Doc visit everyone was so pooped, i thought she had forgotten....NOT! when she woke up, she noticed we were rolling up to our front door and said "playtime" with a confused look on her face. KIDS. lol

so we waited another hour for daddy to get home so that he could go with. and i am so glad we did. WE got to witness the most amazing thing....Bri made a FRIEND and her first BOY CRUSH!!!  like mother like daughter. she was batting her big beautiful eyes at him. following him around, he was following her. she even touched his foot at one point...it was so CUTE!
And sooooo much fun!love watching kids be kids. Good memories.

Lets go Play

so as you will see from the post below, i'm getting out more with the babies. mommy meetups, playdates planned, play area at the mall..etc etc etc. my new focus is SOCIALIZING! I want my babies to be FREE. Free to express, explore, learn, speak, PLAY!  I want them to just be a KID! So lets go PLAY!

Today at the playground inside of the Mall.

 as hard as the labor of LOVE is... i can't see myself doing anything else. it is the GREATEST responsibility GOD could give to a human being. I feel so blessed! i'm not the perfect mother or wife by no means, but i take great pride in taking care of my families needs and want and i try to make a conscience decision  daily to check my attitude, actions, and my demeanor. because whether i want to be or not, for the time being i am their role model. and i want them to always know what LOVE feels like and how to recognize it. NOT an easy thing to do, but GOD believes that I can handle the challenge (i pray for patience so that i may do it with GRACE)

i LOVE being a HOMEMAKER! i LOVE being a MOMMY!

Thumb sucking is for the birds

so brianna is infamous for sucking her thumb and picking her belly button. strange, i know. but she had to do them together. it was cute for all of two point five seconds ...until i started noticing the damage she was doing to her thumb, teeth, and belly button. and then i got to thinking about that future dental bill and FINALLY i was able to convince the hubby to pay for a thumb guard. this comes only after trying EVERYTHING you can possibly think of. EVERYTHING!

Needless to say she was not happy about this one. to her credit, she is insanely smart. she figured out how to get it off within the first hour of screaming about it. so i had to use both guards to cover both thumbs. if you think day shift was hard, try to imagine the night shift. Oh boy. it was horrible, but not as bad as i thought it would be...so that's a positive.
